Useful to have in front of you
- The exact name of the trust and the date it was signed, as it appears on the deed.
- Who the current trustees are, and whether the trust is revocable.
- Whether you have a certification of trust from your attorney.
- The home's address, rough value, and the balance on any mortgage or existing line.
- About how much you want to borrow, and what for.
- If a bank already declined, what it said — in its words.
The first conversation
It covers how the home is titled, whether the trust fits the programs that lend to trusts in your state, and what those programs will ask to see. If you want real terms, a soft credit pull you authorize follows; it does not affect your score. If no program fits the trust as it stands, you will hear why, and whether it is a question for your attorney.
Questions trust owners ask about this
Does contacting Korbin affect my credit?
No. A soft pull happens only when you ask for real terms and authorize it, and a soft pull does not affect your score.
Do I need to send my trust before the first call?
No. The trust's name, date and trustees are enough to start. Documents come later, and usually only the certification and a few pages.
